MEOX’s battery energy storage container is a fully enclosed Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). You can install it at an existing energy storage facility and use it as a battery bank, or you can place it directly at the point of load for backup. The enclosure is on a 40-foot ISO steel platform. It has been designed to hold lithium battery racks, the Battery Management System (BMS), the power conversion system, the thermal control system, the fire control system, and fire extinguishers all inside one single box with only one opening. Being a standalone battery container, it can be transported by truck, train, or ship to site and positioned and connected without needing to construct a dedicated plant room, which saves time and money. That’s why it’s a viable choice for integrating with renewable energy, supplying power to remote areas, mining/industrial sites, and as backup power.
The housing is also manufactured along similar specifications of MEOX container lines: a Corten steel base weld, corrugated iron sheets of SPA-H, internal rock-wool insulating layers, and the sealing system for the roof and doors are all elements used. In this way, the battery storage system is protected against corrosion and weather, can withstand mechanical forces, and thereby guard sensitive battery and power electronics equipment over years of outdoor, coastal, or high-vibration transport usage.
As a dry-container-format product, the unit ships and installs using standard container logistics, and is offered with OEM / ODM customization, including size, color, and branding, to match a buyer’s project or corporate identity.
